![]() ![]() Using the Arduino’s unregulated power supply Be careful to observe the correct polarity when attaching an external power supply and note make sure that both the external power supply and the Arduino share the same GND ground. Connect the external power supply to the two conductor blue PWRIN screw terminals. To power the motors using an external power supply, place the power selection jumpers between the PWRIN pins. ![]() The selection is made by using a pair of jumpers located behind the blue PWRIN screw terminals. The motors can be powered by the Arduino board or an external power supply when the motor current exceeds the limits provided by the Arduino. Two DC motors are connected to the either the blue motor screw terminals or the 4 pin male header located behind the motor screw terminals. Motor voltage: 4.8~35V (from Arduino or External Power Source). ![]()
